This bot is SELF-HOSTED. That means we provide the code and you run it yourself either on a secure Amazon server or your own hardware/PC. This means your seeds never leave your own device/server and are never in any way accessible by us nor anyone else. Additionally, this means you can fully read the code and verify that it is secure and nothing suspicious is going on (if you don't trust our many happy Alpha testers' testimony).
The bot requires that your seed phrases be encrypted on-disk by a user entered passphrase and only ever briefly decrypts the seeds in memory as needed to perform authentication token fetching and wallet actions.
Here are the technical details of the encryption for any interested:
To activate the bot, your IV datafile must be present and you must correctly enter your passphrase. The passphrase is not saved anywhere; a bad password entry decrypts the encrypted seeds to junk and thus fails, while a correct password entry will successfully produce your seed text. While less secure (i.e. as secure as your machine is) you can save your passphrase to a hidden file that the bot will read to avoid password entry on every bot reboot. At the least, your seeds are still encrypted on-disk, but if someone gained access to your machine and found your passphrase/IV datafile they could then decrypt your seeds. We suggest that everyone hosts on AWS. IF AWS is breached, then your keys are the least of the worries. Think about how many MASSIVE companies use AWS to host their entire infrastructure.
If you're running the bot on a remote server, you can perform your seed encryption locally (and disconnected from the internet if desired) and then simply move your encrypted seed file and IV datafile to your remote server.

NOTE: As of 12/8/2021 (Dec 8) at noon EST we are live!
NOTE: By design, the bot's payouts may not work correctly if you pay your scholars low wages (less than a 51% share). There should not be any issues if you pay 51% or above, other than something like powering off the bot mid-payout without a graceful shutdown. If you pay low wages like that, use this tool at your own risk.
